Depart Entebbe in the morning and drive west through scenic countryside, tea plantations, and rolling hills toward Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for its primate diversity.

Arrive in the afternoon and check in to your lodge. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the forest atmosphere and rich birdlife.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest. Follow experienced guides through the forest in search of habituated chimpanzee families.

Return to the lodge for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon visit to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run project offering excellent birding and chances to see other primates.

After breakfast, drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing crater lakes and dramatic landscapes along the Rwenzori foothills.

Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife.

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, with chances to spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and more.

After breakfast, continue south toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, traveling through the Ishasha sector (home to tree-climbing lions, season permitting) and scenic highlands.

Arrive at your Bwindi lodge in the afternoon and relax in preparation for the gorilla trek.

After an early breakfast, attend a briefing at the park headquarters before setting off on your guided gorilla trekking experience. Trekking time varies depending on the gorilla family’s location.

Once found, spend one magical hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat — an unforgettable wildlife encounter.

Return to the lodge in the afternoon for relaxation or an optional community visit.

After breakfast, transfer to Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip for your scheduled domestic flight back to Entebbe.
