Gorilla Trekking

Transfer from your hotel to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip, depending on your lodge location.

Enjoy scenic aerial views of Uganda’s countryside, lakes, and highlands during the flight.

On arrival, meet your lodge guide and transfer by road to your Bwindi lodge. Check in and spend the afternoon at leisure, relaxing amid the rainforest surroundings.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before beginning your guided gorilla trek. The trek duration varies depending on the location of the assigned gorilla family.

Once found, enjoy one unforgettable hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat — a truly life-changing wildlife encounter.

Return to the lodge in the afternoon to relax or enjoy optional activities such as a community visit or nature walk.

After breakfast, transfer back to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Entebbe.

Arrive in Entebbe in time for your onward international flight or an optional overnight stay, marking the end of your gorilla safari.
